GIMELLI FAMILY

Hi I am trying to find out as much information about my paternal grandfather's family. Dad's parents were separated/divorced so we never had much information on dad's side of the family).

I have done some digging and found out he had 3 sisters (we only thought he had one which was Laura Gimelli ...

Tessa78 - you are amazing. Thank you so much for providing all this valuable information. I truly can't thank you enough - things are starting to piece together for us in regards to Nonno's family. I had no idea of his father's occupation, nor place of birth.

I have so much more questions I would ...

Wow..... Thank you so much for the translation and the birth extract of Isabella Cristina Salsedo.

I do believe the correct spelling of Gimelli is with an I rather than E. The handwritten document itself could be read as either an E or an I. I have managed to find an original birth certificate ...

Thank you so much for your help. It is greatly appreciated. Ferruccio Gimelli (i think they transcribed his surname incorrectly as we were told it was always GIMELLI not GEMELLI) . My father (Ferruccio & Isabella's son) was Vitaliano - I am going to have to get someone to translate that document ...

I managed to get to this link https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6JX9 ...
