Thanks but as far as I am aware the child was registered as Giovanna Tommasin 1910, also have a note that she died in 1983 but I do not know if she married. She was not a Soggia and her mother was Antoinette Tommasin age 13. Antoinette went on to have another child father unknown - Armando Tommasin ...

A family member has just confirmed she did have a baby at age 13, so will have another look when I come home from work tonight. I thought there was only one book under Nati ...

Re: Soggia Family who married Hebridean Soldier in Padova

Thank you very much - back to work today finished my holiday, hence the late thank you. I will have a look at the military draft archives - also see if any old newspaper archives. I am going to download all the files you have sent me tonight and get them in order before I go to bed.

Re: Soggia Family who married Hebridean Soldier in Padova

Thank you Mmogna you are great, much appreciated. I have done some research on the area and it appears the early Soggia lived in Pontelongo which the river Bacchiglione runs through and the later lived in the Brentella Canal area, so likely they were generations of bargeman working the navigation ...

Thank you so much, this means so much to us to fill in the gaps. My friend found lots of hand written notes about the immediate family today but nothing past her Granny Laura parents. Other than Laura's granny fell off a roof before she was born. I am going to try and get the 1956 document ...
