Atto di cittadinanza is a record written when someone gets the Italian Citizenship.
The pubblicazioni records show the request for banns needed before a marriage and the dates the banns were posted.

Atto di cittadinanza -the ones that are microfilmed for this town from 1872 to 1925 should be acts whereby an individual requests a transfer of his/her residency from one town to another, or even to a city in another country. Sometimes I have found that the person is already living somewhere else, and that a relative or friend appears in his place to make the request. Most, if not all of the acts I recall seeing among the microfilmed records for the various Italian towns, have been for males.
