My Grandfather Albert was born in Cook county June 20, 1912 and died in Brooklyn, NY July 23, 1963. I have a reissued birth certificate that he had received in 1942, unfortunately it's pretty vague. It states his name at birth was Umberto Gugliermo Giordano, he was the 3rd child, Alessandro was 34 and Anna was 24. It states Alessandro's occupation was as a printer and both parents were born in Italy. It doesn't say where but my Father believes it was Salerno, Sa but not really sure.
That's all I know. My Grandfather came to Brooklyn, NY and married my Grandmother Ann Pantone, they had 2 children Alexander (my Father) and Elaine. I never met him and unfortunately my family is not made up of any genealogists...... So it's up to me!
