It's not Filippa.At first I thought Francesca but it's not that either, as you can tell from her surname Fiorenza and examples of Francesca on the verso page. It begins with a J and is an abbreviation, so probably either Giuseppa, Giovanna, or Giacoma.

is the record you mentioned in Civil?
i will try to find that

could you give more location details please
if the marriage is 1652- their daughter was born about 1677
she married in 1697
the timing seems off

No civil records for Sicily prior to 1820/1821. On the mainland, civil records begin around 1809.
