Help with Marriage record

Post by tomtst »

I am having trouble reading the names of the groom (? Todisco), bride and her parents. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks Tom

I agree with T that we need the name of the comune, but the bride's surname looks like Leonardo to me and her father's name looks like Raffaele Leonardo. Her mother's first name looks like Maria followed by Mal...

I think the groom's surname is Iodice. I see Distretto di Ariano in the record. I also see the bride's family as living in Sant'Agata (possibly Di Esaro follows this-which would be in Cosenza).

I also see Provincia di Principato Ultra in the record.

Mirabella Eclano

The grooms surname is Todisco his parents are Pasquale and Caterina Ciampi. I just cant read the grooms given name or the bride and her parents.

Thanks

The groom's first name looks like Francesco.

I also believe the groom's name is Francesco. I read "ed Angela" (and Angela) for the bride's Christian name. I only get as far as reading "Maria Mela...." as the mother's surname.

I wonder why this document has been scanned in negative mode?

Bride's mother's surname could be Melchionda, a name found in Mirabella Erclano.
