Interested in the names of Parents and occupation also.
Vincenza's mothers name I can not make out..And the name Ragola? is no where in that region. Hopefully with a translation I will be able to find out more.

Luigi is age 24. Hard to read his occupation, but could be mariner.
His father is Francesco, a cart driver. His mother is deceased Maria Giovanna Gargiulo, a spinner.
Vincenza is age 18, farmer. Her father is Giuseppe, a farmer. Her mother is Principia Raiola.
Here is the birth of Luigi Ciaravolo in 1832.

And here is the birth act of Vincenza di Luca in 1838

Thank so much. Raiola? Glad I got clarification on that. And thank you for births.

Yes, Raiola (looks like Rajola because of the "long I")EllenCatusco wrote: 25 Oct 2019, 03:28 Thank so much. Raiola? Glad I got clarification on that. And thank you for births.
It is a surname found in Torre del Greco.

Luigi is a "marinaio cannoniere", he is in the navy as a gun attendant.

Thank you both. The Navy makes so much sense.
