paccagnella/boscolo translation

Post by pdchenderson13 »

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone can help with the translation of the attached 2 documents. One which is the family sheet and I am particularly interested in the "Luogo della nascita" of Guglielmo Paccagnella (line 1) and his brother Pietro Agostino (Line 4). These names are not places I can findor ever have heard of, nor does my mother who is a descendent and from Padova.

On the second document which is the marriage of Guglielmo to Francesca Boscolo, there is mention I think of an unknown mother but i find the writing difficult to read and understand so a translation would be helpful.

Many thanks,

Patrizia

The place of. Birth is very blurry and difficult to read.

On the marriage acts it states birth in "questo commune" (this town) which is Albignasego.

With their marriage Guglielmo and Francesca declare that the child born to Guglielmo and mother unknown in this town on 17 July of this year is their legitimate child. Angela Maria Paccagnella.

Here is her birth act with notation of her marriage to Antonio Nardo' in 1921.

Thank you both so much.
The article on Albignasego and the district of Roncon is very interesting and I know my mother will be happy. Thanks Mmogno. 😊

Can I also ask on the antenati document 3 lines below the entry Roncon, there is another place which I think begins with a 'B' bonion?

What do you think?

Tessa does the legitimisation of Angel mean that Francesca is her natural mother or that she adopted her as her daughter?
Grazie 😊

They recognized her as their daughter from their natural union. :-)

Brilliant! thank you Tessa, and mmongo. The website of Padova Vecchia is superb, and my mother enjoyed the sayings in Veneto!

The information about Angela Maria and her birth document are also very helpful.

Grazie mille, e buona sera.
