ciao, john
hugh?? Just one plant??
I think cherry tomatoes are perfect... Kids who turn up their noses at regular tomatoes are more attracted to cherry tomatoes... for eating and whipping them at eachother... we had a great crop last year...
My tomatoes are tall enough to be posted... I'm using last years velcro tabs again. Those ties are great! I just ran out to my garden (nice day today) and counted 14 tomato plants... and only
5 buds.
My goose-head garlic is doing really well... (not sure what they are called) I found them growing here when we moved a couple of years ago... never saw garlic such as this anywhere else....
don't even have to pull them out of the ground...
If anyone has tips about these I too would like to know... just recently I started seeing these in the markets... I only use the "goosehead" and soft stem to cook with....
I guess the only advice I could offer about your tomatoes is.. patience... ? and hope for good weather...
Nice to hear from you!!
