Re: Boston MA ship manifests 1904-1905
Yes, I saw the actual document via the link and was very thankful, but was just wondering if there was more info on passenger because depending on the year, the previous manifest page or the one after, has more information on the passenger.

Re: Where to write for birth records?
Thanks everyone for all the help!!
I will get in touch with the FHC, there is one not to far away from me, to order film to look at. If no results there, then I will write to Italy!
Again, thank you.

Re: Where to write for birth records?
so instead of saying(this is from a form letter that was converted into Italian" 'cerco informazioni sul mio nonno, Francesco Maresca' I would change to' certificato di stato di famiglia storico, Davide Maresca'. Davide being my grandfather's father.
I'm sorry to be a pain but I don't want to write ...

Re: Where to write for birth records?
But it looks like I would have to write to Italy because my grandfather and one brother were born in the 1890's, the other brother born in 1887.
I would like to be able to write a letter asking for the birth parents of these three and asking if there are other children born to these parents ...

Re: Where to write for birth records?
I typed in Appignano in the top and 3 Appignano's appear - the one I want in the province of Teramo - can't click on!
But to the right of it, it says something about 'Castiglione' and this is where my grandfather's brother's(they came to US after him in 1910) say they last resided.
Sorry to be such ...

Re: Where to write for birth records?

when I put in the province - Teramo
the town of Appignano does not appear in the drop down menu.
My grandfather's naturalization papers say on one page that he was born in Appignano, Italy and the other page say Abbruzzi, Italy. I was told ...
