Re: 'Professional' researcher expensive, no help with
Unfortunately, after sending requests multiple times, I still have not received a reply for marriage record on Francesco Ricchio and Margherita Berardi , nor for her birth record. I did get Francesco's birth record, and was very happy to get it! But, without the other two documents, I cannot go ...

Re: Infusino Family- need help finding records
My Aunt Asunta married George Ruffalo, they lived on Villa street (or was it Grand Ave.) by Holy Name Catholic Church!
Off the top of my head, I cannot remember the Aiello connection, but I will have to look it up. So, it looks like we are most certainly related - and we shall endeavor to find out ...

Re: Infusino Family- need help finding records
Not thee 'Totero's' ?!?! also was an excellent eatery!
I will see what I can 'dig' up. I believe you are correct in saying we are likely related somewhere along the line! I too come from a huge family: The Ricchio family is everywhere between Racine and Kenosha. Also related to Tenuta, Ruffalo ...

Re: Infusino Family- need help finding records
The family in Racine, WI still owns Infusino's Restaurant. They are Emile, Pasquale (Pat, who is always heard over the din!), and Gino Infusino. My Grandfather used to know their dad or grandfather and they, along with the other cronies would talk about the families and their parents, coming to ...

Re: 'Professional' researcher expensive, no help w
Chris,
Yes, it seems they had some issues. However, the Cerisano one is the correct one, and Gabriele and Francesco were identical twins! Good call! Serafino was also a sib.
The 'Demetri' surname was an error. Tenuta is the correct one. Those Tenuta descendants are actually living a county away ...

Re: 'Professional' researcher expensive, no help w
Jack,
You give the surname as Riggio, however our surname is Ricchio. Is the former a variation, or perhaps a regional form of Ricchio?
Suanj helped me with the proper letters and whatnot, so I am confidant that they were correct, as she found the records in her searches.
I am just concerned that ...

Re: 'Professional' researcher expensive, no help w
Well, I think I have a problem on my hands now. May 2009 I sent off letters requesting documents. I have not received them yet. the problem is that I have sold my house and have moved. The mail will be forwarded for a year, but I am worried that I have received no email or 'snail' mail to know if ...

Re: Looking for Stanco, Loiacono, Finamore and Berardi
I am a Berardi descendant. Finally got some breakthroughs recently - maybe I can help a little? What exactly are you looking for?
Also, as an aside, I worked with a young woman whose name was 'Stango' whose family emigrated from Sturno, Italy - I'm sure it is the same - with a spelling variation as ...

Suanj,
Can I send you something in thanks for your help? You have no idea how happy you have made me! All these years....
My daughter thinks I'm crazy, cuz I actually started to clap my hands and laugh out loud - I am so happy! I think I want to cry of relief!
Thank you with all my heart!

Re: 'Professional' researcher expensive, no help w
Suanj,
You are the most helpful person I have come across in the past 20 years to help with this search! I cannot thank you enough! I just sent off the email request! Again, thank you very very much!
Would this be the same kind of letter to send for a record for Ersilia then? But to San Vincenzo ...

I am absolutely in awe with how fast you replied!! Oh my goodness. Yes, yes, Francesco and Gabrielle were identical twins! So, is it possible that a birth record exists for him?
My goodness, thank you so very much!! I cannot believe this still - you are a godsend!

'Professional' researcher expensive, no help with
I have been trying to find birth certificates and a marriage certificate for my great Grandparents with no luck. No one in the family seems to remember who has them, or even if anyone still has them. I hired a research professional to look for the records in Italy and gave him all the information I ...
