Re: What is the document number in this index

Under L.B. in this index lists the death of Bernarda Leggio. I can't figure out what the record number is and thus cannot find the death record (each line in the index seems to cover two pages). I've tried 129 and 60 and 20. Here is the link: http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+St...

Re: What is the document number in this index

Ron and Paola, I'm sure that the numbers in the left column are just keeping a tally. They are not the Act No, so you have to go by the date. I had a quick look through July but didn't find it so I think that they have made an error. The indices are fantastic though because they give you so much inf...

Re: Rosaria Mammarella parents

Following on from my previous post. ... When I review the document related to Rosaria Mammarella's birth, it appears to be the birth record for Vincenzo and not the birth record for Rosaria. It is definitely the birth record for Rosaria Mammarella. I think you may be misreading the document. If you ...

Re: Rosaria Mammarella parents

...when I was researching information on Rosario's parents, I did locate many records associated with the same name Rosaria or variations of her name. How can I be sure that the parents Dionisio and Antonlina are her parents since I have no other information on Rosario to validate against (ie sibli...

Here is the link to the marriage of Mariano DiStefano on the Palermo 10 year index- the reason I thought they were married in Santa Ninfa and not Palermo. http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato+di+Palermo/Stato+civile+della+restaurazione/Palermo/Matrimoni+indici+decennali/1836-...

Re: Birth Translation for Rosa Ficarrotta

So here's another index and looking at the letters "F" in this index and also the name Ficarrotta, it does look very much like the letter F in both the birth record and also the marriage record. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-997B-J997-Z?i=2486&wc=MCTM-NTL%3A351055601...

Re: Birth Translation for Rosa Ficarrotta

I've just pulled out an index with the surname Ficarotta on it: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=2051639

I'm not sure it is the same handwriting though.

Mark, with limited online records, should you manage to get back further, there are just a few very early records here for Fosciandora: http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato+di+Lucca/Stato+civile+napoleonico/Fosciandora/ Albiano: http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archiv...
