Re: Marriage record missing some words
Thank you both for completing the missing words.
So are you both saying that Agnello Riccardo & Maria Antonia dell'Aquila are from that parish but are unmarried ?

Hello
I have tried to write & translate as much as possible the following record.
However I am still missing some words, or abbreviations. Any ideas are appreciated

Right to Italian citizenship (from Canada)
Hello all
My Italian grandfather came to NYC by the year 1900. I have only his marriage certificate for that year. His wife was born in NYC. My father was born in NYC in 1901.
They then immigrated to Canada in 1902 for which I have my gf's arrival & citizenship documentation in the local court. In ...

Thank you Luigi, Marcuccio, darker

Regarding the catasto provvisorio, do the transaction dates go past the date of death of the person's death ? Are the transactions added back ...

Catasto provvisorio
Hello
Does anyone have any experience on using the Catasto Provvisorio (Murattiano)
They appear to be a registry by landowner which shows the history of his properties' transfers and charges/credits etc.
I know they run from 1809 on...
But can they be used in any way to determine ancestry prior to ...

Thank you mmogno
The site gives us the option to request documentation, interesting !

Re: FamilySearch inaccessible records
Hi Pippo
Correct, none of the listings on the 11 pages had the camera icon, however I will check again this weekend, and let you know if anything changes
I was excited because it shows Fogli di Famiglia, later vitals, Liste di Leva, and 100 year Indices... etc

Re: FamilySearch inaccessible records
Hi Erudita
FamilySearch has asked that I complain through their feedback such that they should reconsider the automatic displaying of the message that the images are available at the library/centre, when in fact , often they are not, but discovering this only after you get to the library

Re: FamilySearch inaccessible records

but when you got to the FamilySearch Center (or affiliate)
the camera icon does not even exist - so nothing to click on
They write to me:
We do not own any of the records but have legal agreements with the owners about how we will display their records and to whom we can display ...

(listing over 11 pages)
