My PM says "The requested users to be added do not exist", so I cannot find those two users...?

Re: Penal certificates

Thanks Erudita
I will try them.

I asked the State Archives in Rome and the State Centrale Archives. They told me they do not keep any judicial records. They said to try contacting the courts in Rome and Naples, where the cases originated.
thanks

Penal certificates

I am looking to find the penale certificate in 1920 in Rome.

The original residence is Naples. So far Naples tells me they dont have anything, but possibly in Rome.
Does anyone know where to make the request in Rome (Naples does not give me any further info!) ?
thanks

Re: Soldier killed ?

Thank you. Yes I have that. But I do not understand my guess as to the text in italics, it makes no sense ?
Also it mentions a death certificate ?
Do you know where I can find photo of this soldier?

Regards

Re: Liste di Leva annotation

In follow up, I see something like this: L'16 febbraio 1872 passato nel 34o reggimento fanteria. Licenziato con semplice foglio di via, in seguito a rassegna di rimando passato a Bologna a successive determinazioni del comand G. in data 3 Giugno 1872, perchè affetta da gozzo e gola grossa (debita s5...

Soldier killed ?

I know this matricolare says he was was killed, but I'm not sure about the wording around it. Also in the 2nd image I'm not sure about the occupation, looks like something about gas . Also I think many of the killed soldiers have been photographed to memorialize their sacrifice, but I cannot find th...

Re: Liste di Leva annotation

Thank you Tessa.

This is just the Leva, but It seems like there is no actual foglio matricolare. I am not sure why. Did he actually do any military service? It looks like I see a reference to Bologna?

thanks.

Liste di Leva annotation

I am struggling to read this military file annotation.
It looks like he was transferred or released and had some kind of medical condition....but I am really not clear on most of the words !

If anyone would care to take a stab at it, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
