Translating an Italian death certificate
Hi everyone! I just found what I firmly believe is the death certificate of my Italian 2nd Great Grandfather. I would appreciate if someone could take the time to translate this for me.
My 2nd GG's record is Number 5, the top one in this document.

Re: Translating my Great Grandfather's WWI Record
Also, as a side question. Where would I be able to research in depth about his regiment during the war? I've been stuck trying to find websites that give detail on what each regiment in the war was doing. I'd like to know as much as a can

Translating my Great Grandfather's WWI Record
Hi All. I just received my great grandfather's military record from my researcher and i'm so excited to read it! I was hoping I could get it translated. The things my researcher told me is that he was in hospital due to a severe ear infection, and he was appointed as private first class. But that's ...

Re: ordering documents from Italy
That's that I thought they wrote, thank you for confirming. Am I right in reading that the total is 5.20 euros that they want? Is there a different between sending an international cheque or just the cash?

Thank you so much for that, Suanj! That's a huge help in my search of finding more information. Now that I know her parent's names how can i further trace back my family tree?

Re: ordering documents from Italy
I'll double check with them just to be sure, but it's my understanding that in the envelope I sent them I add in the euro bills? Nothing else like copy of ID or anything?

ordering documents from Italy
I'm in contact with the state archives in Avellino in regards to my great grandfather's military documents. They said they have the documents but I would need to send money over for photocopies. I've never sent money through the mail before and i'm just a bit hesitant about it. Am I able to make out ...

Re: 1920s marriage certificate translation help
Thank you, Tessa. Sent out an email to the archives yesterday. Got a response back today saying in order to get photocopies of the documents that I'd need to pay, but at least they seemed to find a match between a document they have and the information I sent to them.

Re: 1920s marriage certificate translation help
Hey Tessa, one quick question that's not related to the marriage record. I'm trying to find Alessandro's military record during WW1 and I have a bit of info on it like when he enlisted, when he was honorably discharged, and his serial number in the army. Would contacting Avellino be the best place ...
