i also thought that myself...most of my translations for stone cutter is tagliapietre yet i wondered if maybe that is a regional term....

occupation question

what is the translation for occupation 'tagliamonte' - i don't have the birth act, but the spelling is correct. it is from the town of sarno, salerno. i cannot find it on any of my occupation lists and google translate comes up blank. a cutter of what?

this is a whopper! any guesses as to the groom's name on this marriage notation on a 1911 birth act #529 from ariano irpino. they married in ariano, 25 mar 1947 #77, the online marriage records stop at 1940. the closest i can come to existing surnames in the town is campagna thanks donna 1911 birth ...

also date of death is 27 nov 1975 or 78?
