Hello Tess and Happy New Year!

Back in October I mailed a letter written in Italian to the Ufficio dello Stato Civile in Sicily and have not had a response. So, last month I emailed someone there and again no response. Do you know if it is normal to wait this long?

Here is Vincenza "Jennie" Bellitti in my tree. It includes the marriage records of her parents and grandparents and goes back to her 3rd and sometimes 4th great-grandparents. Her grandfather Pellegrino Bellitto was a foundling so you're probably not going to be able to go further back for him.

I just had Ancestry send you an invitation.

According to Ancestry, Vincenza Bellitti was the "grand-niece of wife of husband of [my] 5th cousin 4x removed." So not really related.
