It has occurred to me that I could contact the church in Nicastro to try to find record other birth. I am not sure however how to find the contact details of the church archive. Does anyone know how I can go about finding this out?

I have just received the USA naturalisation certificate for my GGF. The name of my GF is listed on it as one of his children however in lieu of my GF being listed Vincenzo James Dattoli, he is listed as 'James' and his last name is redacted.

I just realised that the misspelling is intact just the first names and not the last names as follows. I wonder if this makes it easier as last names correct? Do you think I'd need a correction?

Yes definitely the USCIS and as you have the C-number that is listed on the document - which is what you require to request copy of the doc it should be very straight forward.
