Ancestor with 2 wives?
I found a marriage record for a potential relative. According to his processetti from 1819 in Cellino Attansio, Giacomo di Tommaso di Giacomo was born in 1793 to Tommaso di Giacomo and Giacoma de Sanctis in San Giacomo, a hamlet of Atri. He was legitimate and his parents were married. 3 pages after ...

My 6x great grandfather, Pompeo di Gennaro, married in the hamlet of Bozza in Montefino in 1820. His marriage record states that his father, Gennaro, was no longer living at the time of the marriage but his mother, Mattia di Michele was alive and living in the nearby hamlet of Montesecco. In 1834 ...

Re: Looking for Parish Priest
I looked at his children's processetti records countless times and only their baptismal records were included in their files and not baptismal records for the parents, let alone grandparents or great grandparents. In regards to a death record for my ancestor born in 1760, I was able to find one and ...

Thank you for the reply, it's impossible to find any processetti records for the ancestor who's baptism record I am looking for as he was married before 1809. As for processetti records for his children, I have already had a look at those and they were of no use to me and it didn't have any ...

I contacted the Archdiocese of Rieti to inquire about finding a baptismal record for an ancestor born in 1760 in Roccapassa, a hamlet of Amatrice. I read somewhere that records from Roccapassa would be there in the archdiocese's archives in Rieti. Unable to locate the records online, I emailed the ...

After some digging, I found a processetti record of his son Domenicantonio di Giacomo in Cellino Attanasio. In it, it states that he "declared with his oath to ignore the place of death and that of the last residence of his father and his grandparents." I also found a death record for another ...

I have a processetti record for my ancestors Pompeo di Gennaro and Massimilla Marchese. There is 2 death records imbedded in it that are written in Latin, one on page 97 and one on page 99. Is there anyone by any chance who knows Latin that can translate these documents? Thank you so much!
